L'idea di presentare un gruppo di ladri - guidati da Danny Ocean - che si scontrano con un altro malfattore, il famoso Francois Toulour, per restituire il bottino a chi ha subito il precedente furto - Terry Benedict - può essere interessante, perché presenta due rivali abbastanza potenti. Il fatto però di esserci una somma di attori che nell'attuale panorama di Hollywood è leggendario, mina la credibilità della storia: cominciamo a guardare il film, vediamo Julia Roberts e pensiamo che ci sarà lei come protagonista.
