Gruppo di amici di colore affitta una baita per un weekend ma si trova vittima di un gioco mortale. Sorta di spoof a cavallo tra gli spunti metacinematografici della serie Scream e di quella Saw, parte dal noto cliché per il quale i neri muoiono per primi negli slasher, costruendovi attorno un whodunit condito con attacchi all'arma bianca dei misteriosi killer di turno. Qualche battuta va a segno ma in generale il film è abbastanza fiacco, nonostante l'autoironia nel trattare temi classici della cultura black; il mestiere del regista non basta a sopperire a un film un po' insipido.
