Helen, corriere in bicicletta, ha un traumatico incidente. Durante la convalescenza, inizia a sperimentare strani episodi di allucinazioni e incubi notturni, grazie ai quali scopre di avere un tumore di natura benigna, generato dai residui di una "gemella scomparsa".
