l sesto capitolo si apre su Burt Gummer e suo figlio Travis confinati in una remota stazione circondata da Graboids che sono stati convertiti in armi viventi. Burt Gummer e suo figlio Travis Welker si ritrovano circondati dai Graboids durante un viaggio verso il Canada per indagare su una serie di attacchi mortali. Arrivati a un centro di ricerca nella tundra artica, Burt comincia a sospettare che i Graboids siano segretamente usati come arma, ma prima che possa dimostrare la sua teoria, viene colpito dal veleno dei vermoni assassini. Con solo 48 ore di tempo, l'unica speranza è quella di creare un antidoto, e per fare questo, qualcuno dovrà capire come mungere un Graboid...
