RuPaul interpreta Robert Lee, star navigata degli spettacoli drag che ha risparmiato per un’intera vita col sogno di aprire un club tutto suo. Purtroppo, però, viene truffato dal fidanzato insieme alla perfida collaboratrice Lady Danger (Tia Carrere di Relic Hunter). In preda alla disperazione, decide di andare in tour e girare in camper l’America per recuperare il maltolto. Proprio on the road s’imbatte in AJ, un bambino precoce (Izzy G) abbandonato da una madre problematica. I due formano una coppia inusuale e, nonostante le piccole grandi difficoltà, diventano una famiglia.
