Un gruppo di attori totalmente concentrati su se stessi, intende realizzare un grande film epico di guerra. Ma quando la produzione del film rischia di non poter continuare, a causa dei costi (e di un ego) spropositati, il regista, carico di frustrazione, si rifiuta di interrompere le riprese, e decide quindi di condurre il cast di primedonne nella remota giungla del Sudest asiatico, con la scusa di mirare a un “maggiore realismo”. Nessuno immagina però ciò che li attende laggiù.
