Ghostbusters 3 - Legacy, film diretto da Jason Reitman, è il terzo capitolo dell'omonima saga, inaugurata nel 1984 con la regia di Ivan Reitman. Questa volta gli Acchiappafantasmi tornano in una nuova avventura che vede protagonista una piccola famiglia, formata da Callie (Carrie Coon) e dai suoi due figli, Phoebe (Mckenna Grace) e Trevor (Finn Wolfhard). Dopo essere rimasti senza un soldo, i tre si trasferiscono a Summerville in una fattoria isolata e macabra, ereditata dopo la morte del nonno. Nella cittadina iniziano a manifestarsi strani fenomeni: piccole scosse fanno tremare la terra, ma non sono collegabili a nessun movimento sismico.
