Maggie Wlash e l'architetto Pete Danner partono da New York per Londra dove devono assumere un incarico. Mentre viaggiano su una motocicletta i due vengono tamponati da una Rolls Royce di sir James Kenakte, che li ospita nel proprio castello. Il giorno successivo giungono altri cinque invitati. Ognuno di loro porta un anello particolare, simbolo della famiglia. Quando uno ad uno muoiono, i due americani tentano inutilmente di fuggire, poi scoprono che gli scomparsi sono assassini e sono morti come le loro vittime.
