Presentato con successo al Sundance Festival, e al Noir in Festival, è un film di cui discutere, sia per il contenuto contraddittorio, sia per il modo in cui è raccontato. Se non fosse la vera storia di Danny Balint, o almeno così dicono, sarebbe troppo provocatorio per essere vero. Danny è un brillante studente ebreo, ma è anche un violento antisemita. La paradossale contraddizione in cui vive arriva al culmine quando gli viene chiesto di mettere una bomba in una sinagoga. In realtà sarà lui ad andare in corto circuito. Aspro, isterico e violento, il primo film di Henry Bean (sceneggiatore di Nemico pubblico e Affari sporchi) è capace di scuotere le coscienze, pur non approfondendo le difficili tematiche religiose.
