1936. Il comandante Elio torna dal fronte abissino. A casa, in Italia, lo aspettano la moglie e la segretaria di lui, anche amante di lei. L'uomo ha con sé una bella ragazza di colore, che scatena perversioni e gelosie. Sarà proprio quest'ultima a rimetterci la pelle, dopo di che tutto tornerà ad essere "regolare", almeno quanto prima.
Ispirato al romanzo di Juditte Wexley, L'alcova di Joe D'Amato, al secolo Aristide Massaccesi, s'inscrive nella fase più "raffinata" della filmografia pornografica del regista, in compagnia di altri due titoli, Lussuria e Il Piacere.
Laura Gemser recita qui dopo aver contribuito grandemente al successo di D'Amato, come protagonista della fortunata serie Emanuelle nera.
