Il nuovo film Marvel Avengers: Infinity War porta sul grande schermo la più grande e fatale resa dei conti di tutti i tempi. Dopo gli eventi di Captain America: Civil War il gruppo di Vendicatori si divide, con Captain America/Steve Rogers (Chris Evans) che lascia cadere a terra il suo scudo. Tony Stark/Iron Man (Robert Downey Jr.), rimasto senza plotone alle spalle, impiega tutti i mezzi a disposizione per difendere il pianeta dall'ennesimo attacco alieno, dalle armature high tech di sua invenzione, ai finanziamenti da "miliardario playboy filantropo". Il nuovo nemico, Thanos (Josh Brolin), un potente tiranno intergalattico, è deciso a conquistare l'universo sfruttando il potere delle Gemme dell'Infinito, alcune delle quali finite nelle mani dell'avido Collezionista (Benicio del Toro) famoso cacciatore di artefatti spaziali.
